Harry Potter has begun his fifth year at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. It all began with a flash in the pan when dementors attacked the scar-headed lad over break. He used the patronus charm to defend himself and his cousin Dudley, leading to his trial then subsequent acquittal from the charges. Now, on his way to Hogwarts, he is joined by his trusted companions as another adventure unfolds. Dolores Umbridge, of the Ministry of Magic, has come to the school to serve as the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. She, under Ministry orders, will prohibit the students from actually learning anything. Harry, having been attacked by dementors and witnessed Voldemort's attack first hand leading to the death of Cedric Diggory, will not stand for it. Hermione and Ron call a meeting, they would form a group, a class that would learn Defense Against the Dark Arts the proper way. From a proper teacher. Harry was appointed to teach having faced the Dark Arts many times and returning from each encounter with his life. Ginny Weasley created the title 'Dumbledore's Army'. The rebellion has begun.
Under the cover of darkness Voldemort also laid his scheme. He had noticed the exorbitant amount of talent within Hogwarts's very walls. He found a proper protege in Warren Vilderbain, a 5th year Ravenclaw 'meant' to be Slytherin with an absent heart yet cunning mind, stepped forward. He was branded with the dark mark, the youngest of the death eaters, and charged with the task of raising a youthful army to respond to the Dark Lord's bidding. Vilderbain set out this year, ambitious passed his usual hatred for Harry, to create the army of evil that would rise to power.
The table has been set, the piece properly placed upon the board accordingly. Which piece will you be? Which side will you stand with? Under the cover of darkness or beneath the shining light? All that is known is that alone we stand and....
