Miss Billie Ackerman
Ahh, pay attention folks, and be quiet! Here in the school library we find the rare Miss Billie Ackerman in her natural habitat. Careful now, don’t want to disturb her. Ackermans are well known to be flighty when caught by surprise.
Also known as Totali marysuius, the Ackerman is a specimen easily distinguished by bright colothing colouration and a mane of vibrant blue hair. The purpose of this is unknown, but potentially has to do with the fact a 5’5” natural brunette otherwise wouldn't stand out. After all, the Ackerman is a well known attention whore.
A senior member of the Ravenclaw Clan, this group has been known to be seized by odd, repeditive behaviour known as ‘studying like a maniac’. This is oddly contrary to others of the developmental stage known as ‘students’. The Ackerman is no exception, being a natural overachiever that exhibits signs of distress when she achieves less than an O++++ in her work.
Ackermans are also a highly gregarious creatures, and during forays outside the safety of the library will always be found amongst a medium to large sized herd of humans. Identified herd-mates are Amelia Pace, Alexander Muritorè, and Joanna Miller, all three of the Gryffindor Clan.
The Ackerman can easily be located by sound, as when in the presence of a member of the same species it will emit a large stream of non-stop vocalisations known as ‘words’. These vary in tone, but stand out from those of other individuals by the fact that they rarely stop and are emitted with rapid-fire delivery. Our researcher has frequently been forced to employ earmuffs to drown out the constant sound.
As of yet, she has displayed no inclination to find a mate as is traditional for her developmental stage. She has been observed once or twice separating from her herd to be in the company of a few males, but nothing has as yet resulted. The leading theory is that any offspring by the Billie Ackerman will be born with purple hair.
