11th May. Edinborough, Scotland.
Height:
5’7”
Build:
Slight, healthy weight on the thinner side of the scale.
Wand:
Apple with Phoenix feather. 12 inches.
Strict, definite and accurate. Very good all-purpose wand, usually easy to handle. Shows best results in transfiguration, performing all transformations fast and effectively. Can be used in active magic combat; not very good for dark arts (can be used mainly for invoking hallucinations, but not for direct harm). Indicates owner’s inclination to leadership and often points to their high position in various socil structures. As a rule such people are well-respected.
Keywords: Beauty, consciousness, intelligence, choice, eternal youth and beauty, young age, light, culture, society, love, dreams, desire, gift, desired but forbidden, Aphrodite, Venus.
Patronus:
Red Panda, a throwback to her trademark red hair. Reflects her solitary, active at mostly dusk and night, even personality.
Her dad teaching her to ride a bike. A cliché but a goodie.
Boggart:
A long, sheer drop onto rocks and raging seas.
A sort of socially learned fear and because of her father making her stand at near edge of a cliff for a photo. Even though there was a guard rail, one look over it and the possibilities of what could happen to her invaded her mind and instilled a deep fear.
Dementor:
The memory she would relive would be her older sister’s fights with their parents. The yelling, screaming, threatening and insulting frightened the then seven year old Paige. She couldn’t believe the people she respected so much could be so animal towards each other.
Amortentia:
Tea, vanilla, damp soil as her mother was always in the garden, new leather.
Nicknames:
Paigey, Peg, Nic, Ginger, Ranga, Freckles, Ginger Ninja, Fanta Pants, Firecrotch, Red, Ginge, Nickel, Long Lost Weasley.
Clothing Style:
Stylish, no matter what the weather her clothing will be as fashionable as possible without freezing or overheating herself. She’s trendy and fashionable with every item of clothing except her shoes. Never has she bothered to wear a pair of heels (well she did once and they killed), instead Converse sneakers or, on occasions, ballet flats adorn her feet and somehow she manages them to work with her chosen outfit.

Pets:
Burt the budgie. Hand reared, Paige bought him from a pet shop while she was in Glasgow. He’s very affectionate but a little wary of strangers. He loves strawberries, toast, being out of his cage, walking all over the photos Paige is working on and eating paper.
Pensieve:
Ask Paige about her history and you’ll get a short and to the point answer. There’s nothing exciting; she was born and raised in an average, if a little quirky, home in Edinborough, Scotland. She was the second child of a pair who had waited close to ten years to have another child. Growing up in the miserable (her words, not mine) Scottish capital her family was like any other magical family in the fact that it was used for almost everything, though with both parents being muggleborn magical folk there was some restraint to the extent it was used but it still meant Paige, from birth, was fully integrated to the magical world.
As an idealistic, wide-eyed, innocent and fiery haired child her biggest heroes were her parents and her big sister. It came as a big shock when they began to fight frequently, shattering Paige’s interpretation of them. Not long after the fights reached a head, the big sister moved out, leaving Paige the eldest sibling what with her brother having been born a year before. It was a bit of a shock but life went on and Rachel kept in contact so no big deal really.
Sick of a whinging baby brother, Paige was overjoyed to receive her letter to Hogwarts. She barely said goodbye to her parents when she hopped onto the express for the first time. School and finally being able to learn magic was brilliant, the teasing about her vivid red hair wasn’t. Though, to be fair, after the Weasley’s tolerance for redheads had increased slightly. Still didn’t mean Paige didn’t get insecure about it during her teenage years. During her third, fourth, fifth and sixth year she changed hair colour more than outfits until in her seventh year she said ’stuff it’ and went back to being a redhead.
After school her Brother In-Law got her a job at the Daily Prophet after it became apparent to him Paige’s photography skills were worth looking into. It had never been a passion but she was good at it so, needing money to rent a small, unspectacular, house on offer in Hogsmeade, Paige took the part time job and got her house in the quaint village she’d so often frequented as a school kid after a few years of saving.
[/ul] the inner workings
Tea, chocolate, coffee, psychology, human behaviour, games, birds, scarves, pub food, an open wood fire, painting her nails, oysters, trilby hats, photography, having a drink, dating, male company, seeing people happy.
Dislikes:
Seeing people lonely, spinach, pink things, sugary things, high heels, formal wear, cats, babies, expensive brands (same stuff can be found at department stores for half the price), the French, chipped nail polish.
Quirks and Habits:
Checks nails over when bored, changes how her hair’s styled at least twice a day, plays with cutlery or glasses, picks her nose when no one’s looking (yeah, ew gross but I bet you do too), drums her fingers on stuff and enjoys the sound her varnished nails make.
Mirror of Erised:
Own a nice house with a nice car and nice husband.
In Depth Personality:
Meek, quiet, shy, passive are all traits that Paige does not even know the meaning of. She’s boisterous and outgoing almost all of the time. There’s no way she’d be the one sulking in the corner at a party but she wouldn’t be drawing attention to herself either. Instead she’s more the person to be found amongst a small group chatting, laughing and telling crude jokes whilst inviting more and more people into the group. She’s not one to be shy around strangers since she wants to make sure everyone has friends.
She loves having company, especially of the male variety. To her sex is a non-essential bonus since she would much rather sit and talk to someone. Although when she is talking to people, through her Scottish accent, she can be a bit forceful, crash and truthful to the point of being inappropriate.
Her Scottish heritage means aside from violently red hair, Paige has inherited the trait of being frugal with money. She never spends more than she has to, doesn’t offer to buy friends drinks and most certainly never shouts a man dinner on a date. It’s quite an annoying habit which means not many people who know her will buy her drinks since that’s the treatment she dishes to them.
Aside from talking to people, Paige has another love. She loves psychology; what makes people tick. It fascinates her. All other sciences are boring but psych is another story. It means she loves to play games with people just to see how they react, her very own social experiments, but she’s also a hypocrite. It’s alright for her to play someone but for someone to do the same to her is just not on.
