"Okay, it's not like these people don't know who I am already since you never shut up about me. Don't get me wrong, I'm flattered but don't you think your freaky friends are getting bored of hearing about me?"
"Just answer the question."
"Hah, you know I'm right. Fine, my name is Dominic Ezekiel Spencer, born on the 13th of March 1916; which would make me almost one-hundred-and-eight years old."

"You're looking rather good for your age, why is that?"
"Again with the stupid question. Fine, I'll play along."
"Thank you."
"I'm a vampire to state what people already know. I mean look at the thread title, it doesn't say 'Interview with a Vampire' for nothing."

"Going to ignore that last bit. What's it like to be a creature of the un- night?"
"You were going to say creature of the undead. I don't like or appreciate that term."

”Okay, being a vampire is fantastic. I never get to feel the sun on my skin again, never get to eat chocolate, will never have natural born children, I drink the blood of other, mainly innocent, people, I’m called a child of the Devil, I got to watch all the people I cared about wither and die, and now when people find out what I am they ask me if I fucking sparkle! In case you couldn’t tell that was sarcasm.”

”Um yes, I gathered that. On the topic of sparkling since you brought it up...”

”Well apart from it being absolutely hilarious it’s been quite helpful in the hunting department. All these human girls -and boys in some cases- desperate for vampiric attention. All I have to do is show my true nature to certain people and they’ll bare their necks and spill their blood willingly. There is the side effect of some calling me their ‘Edward’ or ‘Carlisle’ or ‘Emmet’ or ‘Jasper’. Thankful for the fact that none of them remember me or that they were bitten by a vampire when they wake up.”

”So you’re one of those who are exploiting the craze?”
”Definitely, even though I hate to say it, I’m a hunter and hunters adapt and work with what’s around them.”

”So what do you like to do in your spare time aside from being a raging metrosexual?”

"Now that's not fair, Illu and Vivian want an explanation for the picture I have to say is the unsexiest I have ever seen. I warned you about calling me names before, don't make me carry out my threat."

"Lots of werewolf blood and a girl with a camera in the the seventies, happy now?"
"No, there's more to the story I'm sure but we'll have to be happy with what we got out of you."

"Fine, again werewolf blood was involved as well as an awesome party. While the humans got drunk on alcohol I got drunk on wolf blood and I must say I don't actually remember that shower."

"See, was that really so hard?"
"Extremely."
"I don't like your suggestive tone, stop it or I'll have Dacian break your nose again. Hah that's got you scared."

  VN: “I’m sorry about Illu. She’s... anyvay. Hello again! Umm... I vanted to ask—I mean, living for so many years can’t be easy. Vhat’s your coping stratergy? How do you deal vith everysing zhat happens and not go crazy or suicidal? Surely it must get to you after a vhile?”

"Look Dom, a serious question!"
"Finally. Your Illu friend is twisted, I hope she knows that."

Well Vivian that is a good question. At first when I was a younger vampire everything that happened was hard to deal with. I had to handle the separation and severing from my family and friends, becoming a monster, longing for my humanity as well as realizing that mortality was no longer an issue for me anymore. I won't lie to you, the way I've gone about coping with my vampirism isn't exactly the easiest on my emotions. I still act as human as possible, the biggest sign of this is that I still breath automatically and actively seek out their company over that of other vampires. Uh things do get to you at first but you become desensitized to it after awhile. I guess you either cope with time or you don't cope at all and turn into Dacian."

"Jeez, you sure do like the sound of your own voice and what was with the dig at Dacian at the end? Was it his breaking of your nose that made it so outrageously big?"
"Shut up."

  SR: “Don’t mind Illu, she just gets her panties wet by seeing photos of you in humiliating and vaguely erotic situations. Sexual sadist, you know.”

  SR: “Vivian, I’m devastated that you could possibly think such a thing of me.

Anyway, Dominic. How does your life as an RP character interfere with your own goals for the future? You have free will to some extent, but ultimately Caity has control over your life. She can get you shot, emotionally traumatised, mutilated, or have you drink werewolf blood on the toilet before being raped by some guy in a shower. How much give and take is there? Cause, firstly, you’re now trapped in Hogsmeade for the rest of your life.

Also, I think Vivian is interested in the most famous person you ever fucked, so answer that one for her.”

  Illu: “You know Viv, I think your time would be better served keeping your mouth shut next time.”

  VN: [red-faced] “I concur.”

  SR: “If it makes you feel any better, the dig at him there was hardly ‘veiled’.”

  SR: “Half a whiskey bottle hardly counts. Also, that's an even bigger copout than last time. Why even start this if you have zero intention of playing it properly?”
