Hi there... So, I kind of disappeared after applying. And I'd like to apologise, so... sorry!
See, I have CF and I got on the waiting list for a new lung. Which admittedly still freaks me out. But basically my lungs like to crap out on me. Nice of them. And there was a donor! And I got excited/scared and forgot to come on and say I'd be gone for a while. *fail* So now I'm back and I have someone else's lung in my body, which creeps me out majorly. No, really. But on the bright side, I'm breathing easier! Just hope it doesn't get rejected and it's all good!
So, yes. I'm sorry I spazzed, forgive me?

Not so lucky for the other person, to be honest. It's about the only thing that detracts from actually being all YAY happy, you know? But thank you! And I'm actually going to get that post up that I promised you shortly. *fail again*

Haha no worries, I'm incredibly slow myself.
And yeah, that'd be a bit of a sobering thought, but they obviously opted in to donate their organs, so the way I'd see it, they wanted to help out people that needed it :]

Are you kidding? You just got a lung replaced, that's plenty of excuse to totally forget Hex for a bit. xD
Good luck on the whole hoping your body doesn't try and cough the lung back up phase.
(Edit: I have noticed my replies to anything seem to get more disturbing/wrong/angry on this account as opposed to my nicer characters. Yeah, I probably would have worded that more tastefully otherwise. Silas apparently does not bring out the best in me.)

Yeah, I'd definately say there was no need to apologize for something like that. And I wouldn't feel so weird about it - I'm an organ donor myself, so I feel good about helping people even after I expire. Wow, that sounded a lot more morbid than I intended it to.
But good luck and warm wishes in the recovery and all!

By the way, as Jackie said, I'm sure that the donor was pleased in being able to help someone else live a better and healthy life. I'm a donor as well, and just reading it made a smile appear on my face.

wow.. like.. holy crap wow. I'm glad that you got that donated organ.. my best friend's brother is in need of a kidney transplant and things are slowly moving along there so I kind of know what's probably going on with you. Just from what I've heard.. anyway! I'm glad you're back and are recovering.. and I hope that things stay good with you! :] <3
