Logan didn't have much say in what he could have as a pet, given that his parents didn't want any animals that were too big or could be potential flea-carriers or anything of the sort. So, when he was eleven, they got him a mouse. He was fond of the critter from the start, and named it Sable (though the name can refer to a male or female, in this case, Sable was a female). Sable is a small, broken marked mouse, with gray patches on a white base of fur. Though it's hard to truly determine the personality of a mouse, Sable seems to enjoy her owner's company, and often sits in his coat pocket when he has the chance to bring her out.
When he was in his fourth year, he got another (female, as it was said that two female mice tended to get along better than two males) mouse to keep Sable company, and named her Aurora (though he tends to just call her Rora for short). She's a hereford-colored mouse, with a brown fur coat and a white face. Her personality appears to be much bolder than Sable's, and she often chooses to sit on Logan's shoulder as opposed to his pocket.
Wand Type:
Made of Aspen wood with a unicorn hair core; length is 9.5 inches. It is particularly good for Charms and Transfiguration, but lacks the power necessary to cast strong hexes or provide good defense. There is some healing power to it, but not that much. It is easily manageable and flexible in manner.
Appearance
Picture:
Hair Colour:
His natural hair color is a chestnut brown, but having dyed it a darker color in the past, it appears to be more of a medium brown hue.
Eye Colour:
Light blue, though they may appear greener in different lighting.
Build:
Logan is slim (and not very muscular either - he‘s too lazy to bother with any sort of exercise) with a light frame, though his height often causes him to come across as stockier than he really is.
Skin Tone:
His skin is fairly pale, and he doesn‘t normally tan during the summer. However, he does, much to his dismay, turn paler in the winter. A light dusting of freckles covers his nose, though they are only really visible in bright sunlight.
Height:
5‘9“
Dress Style:
Seeing as though he doesn't need to wear bright, colorful clothing in order to attract any attention (he manages to attract enough of it on his own terms, both good and bad), he chooses to wear more neutralized colors, black being the most preferable. However, given that his favorite color is - admittedly - orange, he does have a few teeshirts of that particular hue. He's also rather fond of hoodie sweaters - the large, baggy kind that has no zippers and instead has a wide front pocket, and wears them whenever he's given the chance. As for trousers, he generally just wears jeans, which he finds to be the most comfortable.
Specifics:
The first thing that people may notice about Logan is the trademark, irritatingly smug smile that's always plastered to his face, as though he is permanently amused by some private joke. Other things that stand out are his eyes, which are a very pale, almost cold, blue (even when he's laughing, it never seems to brighten them much), and his height (while he's not - that - short, he's at least a head shorter than most of the guys he knows). Almost everywhere he goes, he'll wear a digital watch - it's a habit, really (he doesn't care much about whether or not he's late for class or something). As well as this, he also carries an EpiPen in his pocket, in case he has an allergic reaction (since he's allergic to nuts). For scars, he has a small, barely noticeable one on his left shoulder, which was a result of one of his falls down the stairs of his house when he was younger.
In Front Of Friends
Sexual Orientation:
Heterosexual
Self Image:
Logan considers himself to be quite popular given the high amount of self-esteem that he possesses, though there is some small part of him - perhaps the little voice in his mind - that contains traces of humility. He's also aware that he's incredibly lazy, and knows that he could do much better in academics if he actually put some effort in, rather than just chatting during classes or falling asleep or not bothering to do the work. Despite knowing this, he has no intentions of acting on it. As far as his actual appearance is concerned, he thinks of himself as reasonably attractive - enough to attract the attention of the opposite gender, anyhow - and tries to keep it this way.
To the Outward Eye:
First impressions are usually one of two extremes - good, or bad. In Logan's case, it would probably be the latter. Upon first meeting him, one would most likely find him to be rather irritating, as well as arrogant and selfish and, in general, a pompous idiot who doesn't care much for course work or worrying about anyone but himself. However, there is a certain charming appeal to his mannerisms that is almost magnetic to some people, and underneath all of the initial impressions, there is one impression that is much more dominant.
It's evident that he's confident in personality, but if you were to peel away the layers, you might find that there is some - well hidden - uncertainty underneath the surface. In truth, he's actually quite awkward, and just tries to shadow it by acting like a fool. He's constantly tripping or stumbling or running into things - as proven by the number of bruises he's obtained - and -unbeknownst to him, given that he actually is quite ignorant of some things - is the brunt of many a joke. To those who know him well, at heart, he is a fun-loving person who isn't as arrogant or as annoying as he may at first come across.
Social Status:
He's somewhere in the middle between 'quite popular' and 'widely shunned'. His outgoing manner seems to attract all sorts of people, almost as though he were a magnetic force, and he would probably consider them to be 'friends', though they act more as aquaintances then actual friends. Logan actually only has a few close friends that truly know what he's really like. He's not overly picky of who he becomes 'friends' with, though he's generally wary and guarded around them until he eventually begins to trust them.

Negative Traits:
Skills:
He‘s doesn‘t have very many skills, especially in the sports area due to his lack of hand-eye coordination and balance, but he is - somewhat - able to play the piano. This isn’t something he tends to show to people, though. He's tried playing guitar before, though he isn't very good - he has high praises for those who can play it. Also, he dabbles a little in acting, though he's wary of it, as he doesn't want to make a complete fool of himself while in the spotlight (such as tripping on stage, a thing that could very likely happen).

Patronus:
A (bull) moose. Of all the wonderful critters in the animal kingdom, it had to be one that was the epitome of awkwardness. He figures that the shape his patronus chooses to form refers to his chronic clumsiness and his tendency to stubbornness, though this is just a wild guess on his part. Unfortunately for him, it’s also the truth.
Boggart:
Logan’s boggart tends to change with whatever he happens to fear most at that particular time, though the most frequent form it takes is, strangely enough, a lake. While this may come across as odd to others who witness it, it’s a perfectly reasonable thing for the boggart to take the shape of given the fact that Logan is absolutely terrified of deep water. There are two reasons for this - one, he never learnt to swim properly, and two, his little sister nearly drowned once when she fell in a swimming pool. If anyone learned about his fears, he would, of course, fervently deny it.

CoMC - E
Potions - T
DADA - D
Report:
Some of his teachers feel that he could do well if only he focused more on his studies rather than on socializing. Others (the Potions teacher, mainly) have already given up on him completely, chalking him up as a walking disaster. Most can agree, however, that he is one of the few people that can give someone a headache just by opening his mouth, which is often.
Personal Statement:
Charms - Besides CoMC, it is the easiest class to him. It also helps that his wand seems to favour the particular type of magic that is required in this class.
Transfiguration - While the concepts of transfiguring interest him to a certain extent, there isn’t enough action to keep him fully absorbed in the work. He also lacks the precision and focus it takes to succeed in this class.
History of Magic - As most students agree, this is easily one of the most boring classes in the entirety of the Hogwarts subjects. While the teacher tries to make it as interesting as he can, there is little he can actually do to make it fun. Logan has fallen asleep dozens of times during class, and received numerous chalk erasers thrown his way as a result.
Muggle Studies - To him, it's a relatively easy class, given the fact that's he's muggleborn, which helps him in answering some of the work that he's given. The teacher's annoying to him though, and it doesn't help that he has the same last name as the History of Magic teacher - it only leads to confusion on everyone's part.
CoMC - It is the one class that he actually looks forward to. He loves almost all animals - excluding crows and other menacing birds - and enjoys the hands-on work that they're often assigned. As long as this doesn't involve anything to do with water, that is.
Potions - This is his worst class. Apparently he's considered a 'troll', or, at least that's what his mark reflects him as. He's never been really good at mixing stuff - and it chronically lazy when it comes to cooking, so hasn't had much practice - and his clumsiness doesn't make the situation any easier. He's constantly knocking stuff over or running into the desk or what have you.
DADA - He's rubbish when it comes to this class, though he partly blames his wand. It's not made for defensive magic, but more so for charms, and so it only makes it harder for him. The concepts of the class interest him, but not being able to do any of the assigned work dampens his eagerness.
History:
Logan was born to two - loving - muggle parents. His mother, an Irish immigrant named Tanya who moved to England when she was younger, met his father, Jim, at the bank where he worked. They grew to like each other, began to date, and eventually, after a few years, married. The night their first son was born - on March 23rd, was windy and rainy - buckets upon buckets of rain fell in thick sheets (making the road dangerously slippery), and it was a miracle that Jim had managed to drive his wife to the hospital without getting into an accident. A few hours later, Logan came into existence, and his parents were completely, blissfully joyous.
He grew up in a very stable environment, surrounded by loving relatives and his parents, whose relationship was strong and lasting. They found him to be a confident - if not clumsy, for he was frequently tripping or losing his balance or running into walls - child who constantly sought out attention from those around him and had a dramatic sort of flair about him. He was also rather odd at times, at least, in their opinion (not that they loved him any less for it), and displayed signs of his magical abilities from an early age (around two years old), especially when his temper flared up and he threw a fit. Things like cups or spoons would fly off the counter and clatter to the ground loudly. They figured that it was just a coincidence, and joked that they probably had some sort of poltergeist living in the house. However, his abilities continued as he aged, and when he came to realize that he was the cause of them, he attempted - unsuccessfully - to hide them as best he could.
When he was around five years old, it was discovered that he was allergic to nuts (pretty much all kinds: peanuts, hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts) when he reacted badly to having a peanut butter sandwich (hives, coughing, choking, gasping) and had to be rushed to the emergency room. From then on he was made to carry an EpiPen around, just in case it ever happened, and he was instructed on what to do with it if he had to use it. It was a shame, this allergy, because it hindered him from experimenting with most kinds of foods and he had to be careful about anything that had potentially been in contact with any sort of nuts.
With Logan’s abilities increasing all the time, his parents could no longer ignore it, and took him to the doctor to see if there was anything wrong with him. Besides his allergy, his health was perfectly fine, and they began to wonder if they really did have a ghost living among them. On Logan’s eleventh birthday, they were visited by a strange looking man, who informed them that their boy was, in fact, a wizard, and those abilities that he’d been showing were apparently magic. They were alarmed, of course, and considered calling the authorities on this man, but he assured them that it was true, showing them the letter and explaining about Hogwarts and everything that else that had to be explained. Gradually, they became convinced. It seemed possible, and was probably more likely than a poltergeist anyhow. They appreciated his magical talents then, though wondered if it were a blessing or a curse. In any case, Logan was given permission to attend the school. He loved it, too.
A few years along the road, his parents had two other children as well, a boy (Kevin) and a girl a few years after (Natalie). Logan got on well with them both, though there was of course the occasional - and typical - sibling rivalry. Neither of them had the abilities that he had, though they knew about him, and were rather jealous. He entertained them whenever he could with small bouts of magic that he could - somewhat - control. Nothing else really happened in his life that was extraordinary, other than the learning of the fact that Logan was terrified of deep water after his sister nearly drowned when she fell into a pool, and that he hasn’t gotten over it to this day.
Roleplay Sample:
It was turning out to be a rather unpleasant day so far. Logan had just got back from visiting a friend's house. Said friend had a bout of the flu, and had asked him to pick up the mail for her, because apparently she was just too sick to go anywhere. He was supicious at first, wondering if she was just trying to fool him into attending to her every need, but when he saw her vomit into the kitchen sink, he quickly dismissed this assumption and agreed to fulfilling the task. As it so happened, he forgot the key to the mailbox, and had to go back to the house to get it, and then go back, once again, to the box. Once he made his final return trip to the house, he felt thoroughly grumpy, but put on a good face so that she wouldn't get mad and - possibly - chuck a house plant at his head. Eventually, he'd made an excuse about his mother wanting his help with going grocery shopping - total bullshit, in truth, for his mother had gotten the groceries the day before - and made a mad dash back to his own house.
As he opened the front door of his house, he glanced around, noting the heavy silence that hung in the air. His siblings - both who went to muggle school - had not yet come back (good thing too; the last thing he wanted were two loudmouthed kids shouting at him about something or another). Looking at the counter, he spotted a note, and picked it up to examine the hasty, messy writing that he was certain was his father's. Apparently they'd gone out for lunch, and would be back soon. Below his father's writing was a small note in his mother's much neater hand. 'There's some mousse in the fridge if you're hungry - I made a batch this morning'. Almost as soon as he read this, he was scrambling for the handle on the fridge door, and yanked it open with probably more enthusiasm than was needed. Bending his head to peer at the contents on the rack, he immediately focused on a small bowl that was placed centrally on it. The fridge light was like a beacon from above, forming a small halo above the dish, beckoning him - no, ordering him - to take it.
There was nothing quite so good in the world as chocolate mousse. It was so...divine. Savoury and delicious and smooth and a gift for all mortals. As you can probably tell, it was his absolute favorite dessert - wait, scratch that. His favorite food. Glancing left and right cautiously, as though he were some sort of criminal who was robbing the fridge, he snatched up the mousse, forced the fridge door shut, and bounced over to a drawer, pulling it open and grabbing a spoon. There was a noticeable spring to his step as he opened the front door - letting it swing shut - and walked a few metres, then sat down on the first porch step and started to eat the bowl of mousse in his hand. He was on his second bite when he heard a loud cawing. He winced dramatically, nearly dropping the dish from his hand. Slowly he turned his head to see a large black crow perched on one of the railings around the porch. With a slight flailing motion he scooted away from it, trying to get as far away as possible without actually going inside. It cawed again, a grating, irritating sound, and then flew from the railing to one of the other steps. Grimacing, Logan hugged the mousse to his chest protectively, and kicked out with a free foot, hoping to scare the bird away. Of course, it didn't work.
Frowning, he studied the critter more closely. God, it was ugly. While it seemed plump enough (greedy twits), it was still scraggly looking; some of its feathers were ruffled the wrong way, and one wing hung a little crookedly, though it didn't actually look broken. It had probably gotten into some scrap with another crow over a bit of food. In any case, it couldn't have the mousse. His chocolate mousse. It wouldn't have been able to eat it anyhow, what with that beak and all. Filthy, disease ridden creatures, his mind muttered, and he went back to eating, blatantly ignoring the cold, black stare of the bird's beady little eyes as it watched him.

Positive Traits:
- Energetic- He's almost always bubbling with a contagious (for it tends to affect anyone around him as well) kind of energy that only grows as the day goes on. This abundance of energy may derive from his lazy nature, though he isn't quite sure. He puts it to good use though, whether this be by bugging his friends with pranks and remarks, or else by trouncing around school with a slight bounce to his step.
- Outgoing - Logan, with his high energy levels, is extremely outgoing towards almost everyone he meets. Due to his eagerness, most find it rather annoying at first, but often eventually come to not mind it that much. Another trait that goes hand in hand with this one with his confidence, which shines through in everything he does, from walking to talking to other actions.
- Charming - His quick wit and self-assured manner tend to draw in a lot of people - whether they want to be attracted or not. Some girls value this aspect of his personality (he's rather flirtacious around most girls); when he wants to, he can become quite a bit more respectful and good-natured than he usually is. He's also quite good at being able to get away with something if he wants to - more often than not, it's with a teacher, and he's become something of a practiced liar because of it.
- Imaginative - He has a wild imagination, and is always coming up with new theories - his most recent one being an irrational (or, is it rational?) fear that crows will eventually take over the world what with their intelligence growing and all. No one usually takes this seriously, though. Besides theories, he's also rather creative, thinking outside the box about a lot of things. He could, for instance, see something in an abstract image that others might not be able to. He appreciate abstractness. It's random, which is something he can relate to.
- Daring - This trait is more than likely directly linked to his bold behaviour. He enjoys taking risks, probably more so than is healthy. It's especially dangerous given his clumsiness, and he's ended up with broken bones before (though nothing too severe.
Negative Traits:
- Clumsy- Logan is notoriously, chronically and irreversibly (oh my, that sounds like adjectives Ms. Meyer would use; sorry, ignore this) clumsy, and as much as he tries to hide it, it's quite obvious to anyone who sees him. It's a weird mix, both confident and awkward at the same time. He's fallen down - and up - the stairs of his house - and at Hogwarts - many times, and never seems to fail in tripping over roots or rocks or potholes or anything else that is a potential obstacle.
- Aggressive - Quick-tempered and headstrong as anything, Logan is constantly butting heads with other people - whether it be about opinions on something (he would defend his views to the bitter end), or just being argumentative in general. He's easily offended, and will lash back at the person with just, if not more, as much force - either verbally, or, if worse comes to worse, physically.
- Pompous - He comes across as quite arrogant to those who don't know him well, and his voice - which is raised a few notches in volume pretty quickly - only accentuates this. It's a guise, for the most part, though.
- Ignorant - Oddly enough, he's rather ignorant about some things around him. He understands sarcasm and stuff such as that, but he isn't intuitive when it comes to knowing when people are talking about him or making jokes or jabs - when it's obvious, though, his temper quickly flares up.
- Lazy - One of the most common deadly sins in the world. If Logan had it his way, work would be non-existant, and information would be known instantly. He hates working for something, absolutely hates it, and even the payoff results don't make him any more ambitious to do well. Going hand in hand with laziness is procrastination, something which frequently occurs in him.
Likes:
- Chocolate mousse - It is God's gift to muggles, and Logan'll gladly milk his muggleborn status for all its worth in order to get even a spoonful of the delicious, savoury treat. As long as it doesn't contain nuts, that is.
- Movies - He's an admitted addict of hording movies - mostly of the action or horror genre. He can never seem to get enough of them, and was utterly disappointed when he learnt that he couldn't bring his DVD collection to Hogwarts, given the fact that they didn't have any devices in which to play them.
- Rain - It's so much more preferable to sunshine, at least in his opinion. This may seem rather contradictory due to his fear of water, but the fear only applies to deep water. Rain water is perfectly acceptable. Logan finds the sound of it to have a calming effect on him, which is a very good thing as he is easily induced into a state of hyperness.
- Christmas - Well, who doesn't like Christmas, honestly? It's his favorite holiday, as he enjoys the winter season, and likes all the bustling festivity that is associated with it - the warm feeling one gets from being inside when it's freezing outside; the smell of fresh, crisp pine trees; the strings of decorative lights and ornaments that are bestowed upon banisters and ledges. Everything about it, really.
- Technology - He, in all honesty, probably couldn't get along without some form of it. Computers, television, the works. As with learning about his DVD's, he was sad to hear that he couldn't lug his laptop to Hogwarts as well.
Dislikes:
- Lakes/Rivers/Oceans/Pools- Anything deep water-related freaks the crap out of him. He's absolutely terrified of deep water, and will completely snap if he's forced anywhere near it.
- Work/Exercise - Nobody likes work, but Logan is especially lazy when it comes to doing anything that involves deep thinking or working hard.
- Crows - They're filthy, disease-ridden creatures, and he has the deepest suspicions that they will one day take over the world due to their ever-increasing intelligence.
- Sun - He finds the heat from the sun irritating, and would prefer to be cold and be able to warm up according to how he wants to as opposed to being too hot and not being able to do anyting about it.
- Peanuts/Walnuts/Hazels/Any other nuts - He's allergic to them, so it's a logical dislike. They're also too salty and crunchy for his liking, so even if he could eat them, he probably wouldn't. This does have a downside though, as most chocolate things contain nuts. He carries an EpiPen, generally, just in case.
