Pets:
A cat named Fat Louie. Fat Louie is a truly ugly creature; he has a smooshed in face, and short stubby legs that don’t seem like they should be able to support his weight. He is fairly distempered and he does not like anyone other than Hazel. Anyone who gets to close to him or Hazel when he is feeling particularly possessive gets a rather aggressive swipe. His favorite food is canned tuna, which he only gets once a month. He is for whatever reason; picky about the type of tuna he is given.
Wand Type:
Maple, Unicorn hair 12 ¾ inch in length. This is considered an all purpose wand, but Hazel finds it most suitable for casting charms. It is not quite as well suited for Transfiguration, which its owner finds disheartening. It is best used for healing purposes, or light hearted charms.
Appearance
Picture:
Hair Colour:
Dark Blond/Light Brown.
Eye Colour:
Hazel‘s eyes are, well hazel. During certain lighting they appear to be a very light green however.
Build:
Hazel has some muscle tone to her from her time playing sports, both the muggle and wizarding kind. She is a bit curvier than she would like, especially for only standing at five foot four. She is hopeful she might grow a few more inches, as both her parents are quite tall. In Hazel’s eyes she looks a little bit heavier than she would like, but she is well within the healthy range for females of her height.
Skin Tone:
Hazel is fairly pale even though she spends the majority of her time outside.
Height:
five foot four
Dress Style:
When not in her school uniform, Hazel can be found wearing muggle jeans and a comfortable shirt or sweater. Hazel’s favorite color is Pink, and she tries to work it into all of her wardrobe. Hazel does not see much purpose for dresses or skirts, much preferring jeans. She does not mind occasionally dressing up, but prefers being low key. The only makeup she wears is light pink lip gloss. She wears her hair down for the most part, only wearing it in a pony tail or braid when playing sports. She has two pieces of jewelry she never takes off, her heart necklace a silver bracelet that adorns one wrist.
Specifics:
One thing that stands out about Hazel is that while she may just be one of the boys when it comes to her attitude, she has several distinctly feminine touches. She almost always has some sort of pink in her outfit, and silver accessories. Hazel has a scar on her lower back from where she backed into an iron. It is only visible if her shirt rides up, or if she chooses to show it to someone. She also has a birthmark on her left shoulder that is in the shape of a butterfly.
In Front Of Friends
Sexual Orientation:
bi-sexual
Self Image:
Hazel does not see herself as anything particularly special. She thinks her face is round and still fairly full of baby fat. She also thinks she’s too curvy for her height. Hazel is friendly and loud, she tends to think of herself as just one of the guys more than anything else. She sees herself as being to plain for the boys, but she is perfectly happy being single.
To the Outward Eye:
]“Hazel is just one of the guys.” This is something that Hazel hears quite frequently. She’s one of those girls who tend to have a lot of male friends. The best way Hazel can explain this is that boys are easier to get. Girls are complicated, and she doesn’t get herself half the time, so she doesn’t need a lot of friends who she won’t get either. This is not to say she does not have any female friends, just that the ratio of male to female friends are definatly tipped in the male direction.[/
Social Status:
Hazel is fairly popular in a sense. She’s friendly to everyone she meets. Houses have no meaning to the happy go lucky girl. Students may know her by the pink she always wears, or that she may be the only student belting out a muggle rock song in the hallways. Hazel will talk to anyone and everyone; she’s willing to be a friend to anyone who needs one.
Positive Traits:
Negative Traits:
Skills:
Hazel is a decent singer, and tends to belt out songs whenever she’s in the mood. She also plays the piano and is in the process of learning the bass guitar.
Likes:
Dislikes:
Patronus:
Hazel’s Patronus is a humming bird, small and quick, very much like its caster.
Boggart:
Hazel’s Boggar is a large fish. Due to her phobia of fish, Hazel just freezes up. Where this phobia came from, only her mother knows. When she was three she fell into a small pond when they pulled her up there was a fish hanging off her finger

Report:
While Hazel is a fairly good student, she is a little bit on the loud side. While she is not intentionally disruptive, her naturally loud voice tends to carry and disrupt lessons. She is however, a dedicated student, who will seek out extra help if she needs it.
Personal Statement:
History:
When Jonathan and Julie Parish first met, Jonathan had recently graduated from Hogwarts. He decided he wanted to spend time in the muggle world, having always found them interesting. He met Julie working in a small quaint shop in London. The two courted, and eventually married. Her mother had been surprisingly open about her father being a wizard. This did cause fallout between Julie and her parents, as they never saw Jonathan as being good enough for her. Jonathan and Julie were only married for a year before their first son Alton joined their family in the very early hours on Christmas Eve. Two years later, he was joined by Nigel. When Julie realized she was pregnant for a third time, she desperately wanted a girl, and her hopes came true when Hazel joined them on the second of November.
Hazel was a joyful child who made it clear from the get go, she was daddy’s little girl. Julie was often uncomfortable with the way Hazel behaved. While she had been raised to be a little lady, Hazel seemed content to do the exact opposite. So while Julie would buy her daughter dolls and jump ropes, they were almost always discarded for a mud pile or rugby game with the other neighborhood children, and her brothers. Of her two older brothers, Hazel finds herself drawn more to Alton. Nigel is more studious and would rather read then play.
Even as a little girl, Hazel got along better with boys. She did not go crying to her parents every time she got a scrapped knee. She had no problem climbing trees or playing tag. Hazel was happy to be outside playing a game, and she often didn’t care what it was. She did tend to prefer more physical games to hopscotch or jump rope. Her hula hoop was set on fire in an attempt to make a flaming hoop, and her jump ropes were often used to tie people up.
Hazel’s favorite gift however, came from her mother. On her tenth birthday, her mother gave her the silver heart necklace that she hardly takes off. Her mother was thrilled that a gift she had given her daughter had finally gone over well. The following year Hazel got her Hogwarts acceptance letter. While her father was thrilled, her mother was disappointed. She viewed this as just one more thing that drove a spike between her daughter and herself.
Roleplay Sample:
Hazel barely spared a glance at the people who were starring at her. She could not blame them really; she was a rather unusual site. Most students didn’t come through the hall covered in mud and scrapes looking happy about it. In fact, the last student who had this appearance had been crying as they rushed through the halls. Hazel had not been pushed, heavens no, she had simply gotten involved in a pick up game of quidditch and taken a header off her broom. She had hit the ground relatively unscathed she had certainly had worse.
She cheerfully gave the password, to the portrait who was giving her a rather disapproving look before bounding into the common room. Several students who happened to be milling around glanced up at her, but very few spared her a second glance. Most of her house mates were use to this kind of behavior from her. At least the older ones were, she still got the occasional curious look from the slightly younger students. She moved through the common room being careful not to actually touch anything. She knew that if any mud or dirt got on the chairs she would be the first one they asked. While, it usually was her fault, Hazel was slightly exasperated when they asked. She just needed to get some clothes so she could head into the lavatory so she could clean herself up. She entered her dorm and offered up a bright grin to the only other student in there.
“Good day to you!” She greeted far too enthusiastically. Her dorm mate gave her a slightly exasperated glance in response. Fat Louie popped out from under her bed, meowing impatiently at her. Hazel leaned down and gave him a gentle pat with the cleanest part of her hand before quickly gathered some clean clothes before heading out of the room again. “I’ll see you later!” She called to the general population disappearing back out of the room. She grinned at another student who had been involved in the match before shaking her head when he inquired on her well being.
“Ah, I’m fine. I’ve had worse, remember that time I got stuck in a tree? That was hilarious.” She reminded with a boisterous laugh. With a cheerful grin, she bid the fellow student a farewell before finally making her way into the bathroom to clean herself up.

Hazel will talk to anyone and everyone; she’s willing to be a friend to anyone who needs one.
Positive Traits:
- Friendly - Hazel will be your best friend or a shoulder to cry on. She’s willing to talk to every student she meets; she has a welcoming smile that helps put people at ease.
- Tolerant - Very little gets to Hazel. People can be sarcastic and cruel and she will simply shrug it off as a facet of their personality, but that does not defer her from trying to be the best friend she can be to them.
- Enthusiastic - Enthusiastic to a fault, Hazel is a one woman cheerleading squad. Whether it’s for a quidditch match or a duel, Hazel is up for anything, and she’ll support her friends the best way she can.
- Open-Minded - Being Bi herself, Hazel is open-minded, and tolerant of people. People can tell things to Hazel without the fear of being judged for it.
- Optimistic - Hazel is the kind of girl that sees the glass as half full. Very little gets the girl down, and she’s a big believer that a better day is just around the corner. It’s this kind of thinking that helps the girl stay so upbeat with other students.
- Sense of Direction - Hazel has a very good sense of direction, she never seems to be lost. Her brothers tease that she was born with a compass built in. Because she is so at ease with her surroundings, she finds herself talking long walks into unknown areas.
Negative Traits:
- Ichthyophobia - Hazel is afraid of Fish. In fact it is her biggest fear. While this seems slightly odd, it renders her near useless to be around the lake or bodies of water were fish may be.
- Keeping a secret - She is the first to admit, she has a big mouth. If it is important, she can keep her mouth closed, but if your confiding in her about a crush, be forewarned she might let it slip next time she sees that person.
- Impolite - Hazel can appear to be impolite at times. While she may not mean to, she does not always think something through before she lets it come out of her mouth, or goes through with an action.
- Loud - Hazel is, in her own words, boisterous. She has a loud voice that carries. While the library is certainly not the place for her, her voice tends to carry in even noisy places like the great hall.
- Lacks faith in herself - For as warm and friendly Hazel appears, with the words of advice she’s willing to dole out, she does not take any for herself. She does not always think she’s good enough, especially when it comes to a few of her classes.
- Unforgiving - If someone does manage to get on her bad side, she does not forgive. While this takes a lot of work, if someone does manage to make Hazel dislike them, she dislikes them from here on end, and does not forgive what they‘ve done.
Skills:
Hazel is a decent singer, and tends to belt out songs whenever she’s in the mood. She also plays the piano and is in the process of learning the bass guitar.
Likes:

- Charms-Hazel thinks Charms is the best subject for her, and she enjoys doing charms that cheer up other people. She also likes to cast color charms.
- Rock music- Her favorite band is the Beatles, and she sings their songs quite frequently.
- Chocolate- Hazel almost always has chocolate on her. She considers it to be the world’s most perfect snack.
- Pink- This is Hazel’s favorite color. While it does not go with her personality all that much, she thinks it’s a pretty color, and it works with her skin tone. She thinks it makes her look a little softer as well.
- Flying- Hazel enjoys flying. She always has. She enjoys the feeling of wind in her hair.
- Horseback riding-Hazel likes horses in general, but finds herself being lulled into a sense of calm when she rides.
- Rugby-One of her favorite sports, Hazel has no issues getting a little banged up for a game she loves!
- Cats-Her favorite animals on the planet that are not mythical. At some they have several cats, and she’s been around them ever since she was little.
Dislikes:
- Snobby people- Hazel does not like anyone who seems to think they are better than someone else. Nothing irks her quite like a snob.
- Hot Weather- Hazel enjoys being outside, but when it is to hot, then it makes it harder to stay out there.
- Fish; she actually has a phobia of being in water with fish.
- Baking-Hazel just seems to be incapable of baking anything that is edible.
- Swimming-Because of her fear of fish, Hazel has a strange fear of swimming even in a pool.
- Potions-Hazel is a bit of a hot mess when it comes to potions. No amount of tutoring seems to help either.
- Spinach-Hazel never grew out of the “ew spinach!” phase. To this day, she will pass over any kind of green that could even possibly be spinach.
- Skirts and dresses- Hazel is more low key and finds skirts and dresses to be to fussy.
- Dogs- It’s not that Hazel dislikes dogs themselves, it’s that she has an allergy to dog saliva, so she stays away from them.
