Introducing...
Name:
Erin Riley Arscott
Age:
June 20th; 14.
Gender:
Female
Year:
4th
Birthplace:
Swansea, Wales.
Ethnicity:
Welsh; with a mix of a flurry of Asian cultures within her, thanks to her mother.
Nationality:
Welsh
Blood:
Half Blood.
Relatives:
Mack Adrian Arscott; Father. Once attended Hogwarts, as a Gryffindor. In his thirties.
Charlene Arscott; Mother. Was a Ravenclaw. In her mid thirties.
Edmund Benedict Arscott; Younger brother. Still too young to join Hogwarts.
Pets:
Erin has one pet, a young tom by the name of Gage. He is a tabby cat, with the upper part of his body being a rich, fiery orange while the rest of him white. His eyes are a soft green, which makes Erin smile whenever she looks straight into them. He is a bit of a loner and enjoys to prowl the corridors, but usually stays close to wherever Erin is. Gage doesn't hunt, despite his rather aggressive nature, but instead eats whatever Erin has left over from breakfast.
Wand Type:
11" Redwood, with a core of phoenix feather. Quite strong, but the power remains to be untapped. Does well with transfiguration, and is relatively suitable for going against the dark arts. Doesn't work with charms that very good, but she manages.
Appearance
Picture:
Hair Colour:
An almost red-brown color, short and wind-blown most of the time. She often thinks of chopping it even shorter.
Eye Colour:
Dark, deep perceptive brown eyes that are quite similar to her father's eyes.
Build:
Petite, but almost boyish. Erin, unfortunately, hasn't really 'blossomed' as the other girls have, but doesn't seem to mind.
Skin Tone:
Fair, lightly tanned on the face and arms.
Height:
5"2
Dress Style:
Erin just absolutely adores all colors, and often dresses in a certain color on certain days. At times, she wears boyish clothing while on other occasions she wears tank tops. If you were to ask Erin what her favorite color was, she'd probably go into a full-out rave about how it was ridiculous that a person could have just one favorite color. To go along with her bright, cheerful clothing, Erin has multiple pairs of converse that sometimes relate to what she's wearing. Other times, they've been picked at random due to a rush to get to breakfast before all the good seats are taken.
Specifics:
Unlike some students that attend Hogwarts, Erin is a rather simple person. She bares no marks, no piercings, nothing out of the ordinary. That is, if you call the few scratches that litter her forearms (gifts from Gage) unusual. She does happen to have a small scar from where she had to have surgery, just across her abdomen, but it's nothing special.
In Front Of Friends
Sexual Orientation:
Heterosexual
Self Image:
Erin never really thinks about herself that much, mostly because she's so caught up in life she doesn't have enough time to sit down and have a 'conversation' with herself, to see what she's like. But, if you were to ask her, she'd probably say "Average. But still awesome cause...you know, I'm Erin. Duh!"
To the Outward Eye:
Erin's first impressions usually include boisterous yowls of excitement, playful...or rather bone-crushing hugs, and bright, friendly grins. She isn't one to act cruel or selfish, and gives off an air of openness that usually draws in most people, but there are those who will probably not enjoy her constant happy, energetic personality.
Social Status:
Erin is probably the kid who's known/friends with everyone but only has a certain set of friends. She loves introducing herself to everyone, but doesn't consider herself popular. Sure, she may have a couple of buddies that are 'famous', but Erin doesn't really like the spotlight all that much.
Positive Traits:
Negative Traits:
Skills:
Erin is actually quite athletic, though not many people know it, and can endure most tough challenges. She can also play a mean game of chest, though she barely plays it.
Likes:
Dislikes:
Patronus:
A dhole, a wild dog usually found in Asia. Because Erin isn't one to bully, her patronus is a dhole. They usually live in packs and never argue or anything like that, and are relatively friendly amongst their pack members.
Boggart:
A large crow that is quite louder and scarier looking then a regular crow. This is her boggart because it shows her fear of loosing Gage again to a crow, but permanently. If she were to see her boggart, she'd either become a little bit frightened or absolutely furious at it.

Report:
Most teachers find that Erin is perhaps the standard, good student. She never really goofs off or anything, and does her work. Sometimes, she even raises her hand to answer a question, which is always a good thing. Her bright smile also gives off her friendly personality, which some teachers have reported to make them just a little bit happier.
Personal Statement:
Erin enjoys most of her subjects, her favorites being Care of Magical Creatures, D.A.D.A, and Transfiguration. Charms, Herbology, and Divination are not her strong points, mostly because she just doesn't take to it like the ones with E or O.
History:
When Mack met Charlene, it wasn't thought that they'd become lovers. At first, Mack was surprised by Charlene's out-going, optimistic attitude and was a bit frightened. But eventually, she grew on him. The two would sometimes study with each another, seeing as Charlene was much smarter then he. During their 6th year, they started to go out with each another (after some persuading from Mack). After they graduated from Hogwart's, the two thought about settling down and starting a family.
When Erin was born, the two were practically overjoyed with their bundle of joy. Mack, at first, was a little hesitant and often didn't know what to do, but Charlene, with her natural instincts, helped him out whenever she could. Eventually, he managed to get used to the change and spent most of his time with his daughter, who was practically attached to Mack. Charlene adored her daughter, and often cooed about how she had such gorgeous little locks of red hair, and those big brown eyes.
When it came to be her 11th birthday, Erin received a letter that would change her life: The Invitation to Hogwarts. Right after that, her parents threw her a giant party just for her, celebrating the fact that she got into Hogwarts. Though she was homesick during the first few days there, she eventually got used to it and actually enjoyed it very much. Her second and third year wasn't very exciting, almost like starting her first year over and over again.
Her parents agreed with her, telling her that its normal to feel that. Mack understood her the most, wishing for new experiences and a much more exciting adventurer. However, in her fourth year, she finds that being a little bit older actually changes a lot of things. New friends, new enemies, new adventures. All of those things, which Erin absolutely loves.
Roleplay Sample:
"Good morning Hogwarts!" A red headed girl exploded from her bed, throwing her arms into the air. She grinned brightly, brushing her hand across Gage's back. He purred, stretching against her clammy hand with the love only a pet, a good friend could supply. "Good morning Gage. Ready for breakfast?" Slipped out of bed, shrugging off her night gown and pulling on her usual school outfit. As she trotted down the stairs into the common room, she noticed only a few of her fellow house mates were there. Probably still asleep... She thought to herself, giggling slightly. Gage tilted his head, brushing up against her leg before scampering across the floor, meowing all the way. "Alright, alright. I'm coming!"
After feeding her ever loyal orange and white feline friend, Erin made her way down the corridors, humming a short tune she made up on the spot. "Mornin'!" She called to a fellow student, who waved in return. A soft, gentle breeze suddenly hit her, causing the young girl to turn. It was a beautiful day outside, perfect for exploring the grounds. "Hmm..." Erin grinned slyly, already coming up with plans to escape the clutches of class and see what's out there, with Gage of course. Then, the gurgle of her stomach reminded her that she was nearly late for breakfast. Throwing herself into a trot, Erin managed to make it to the Great Hall, slipping in with a pack of Hufflepuff's.
Plopping down on an empty part of the bench, Erin helped herself to porridge, orange juice, toast, and some sausages. For some odd reason, she was feeling quite hungry. Then again, she was always hungry. Thank Merlin for her high metabolism. After munching, she pulled herself away from the food and casually went into a large debate a couple of her house mates were having, listening intently before stating her opinion. She didn't often do this kind of thing, slipping into conversations like that, but she was utterly bored and didn't want to start a ruckus with that boredom. Instead, she took the easier route and contented herself with talking.

Positive Traits:
- Cheerful - Erin is perhaps the happiest person you'll know. Sure, she'll crack jokes sometimes, and maybe act a little bit tired or depressed, but as soon as the feeling passes, she's up and springing around like a firecracker. Often, when she is happy, Erin can befriend others easily, using her great big smile and friendly demeanor.
- Silly- Inheriting her mother's humor was considered a gift from the gods to Erin. Using little bits and pieces she hears in the hallways, she can usually string together a rather hilarious joke, but doesn't crack them often. But when she does, it's sure to send at least a couple of fellow students into stitches.
- Patient - Although her childish behavior leads some to suspect Erin would be impatient, it's all codswallop. Erin is willing to wait for however long she needs to, whether it comes to helping someone get over a large tragedy or just simply awaiting to figure out what she got on a test.
- Strong-hearted - Erin is quite confident, and is probably willing to take on the Head Mistress if it came to something so dire. Although it sounds a lot like a rebellious streak, Erin is nothing of the sort. Bravery merely helps her overcome many obstacles, human or nonhuman.
- Creative - When Erin does something that involves art or anything else of that matter, she doesn't just slap something down and turn it in. She spends precious minutes and hours working away on it, using all the creativity she could summon to make it look its best. Her mother once excelled in the art classes she took before Hogwarts, and thus her skill was passed down to Erin.
- Clever - Though Erin is a good girl most of the time, she wouldn't dare let the opportunity of helping out a friend get away. Sometimes mischevious, Erin is willing to lend strategic planning parchments that include pranks, silly charms, and anything else that goes along with mischievous things, to anyone who's willing to pay. Those things don't come cheap, y'know.
Negative Traits:
- Sarcastic - Because of her endless amount of humor, Erin tends to be a little sarcastic around certain folk. If it's something so oblivious, yet someone doesn't know it, she'll probably say something a little rude but still in a playful manner. She doesn't realize that being sarcastic sometimes can get her in trouble, but she DOES know not to use it around staff or any higher ups.
- Paranoid - Sometimes, if she's having an off day, Erin will act all panicky and maybe jump at any noise. This usually happens when she's alone, maybe in a dimly lit place. Ever since she read a book on all the monstrous creatures that have been in Hogwarts, Erin has never really been the same.
- Scattered - Erin tends to stray off into a dream-like state, thinking about things that aren't really important, especially when someone is talking to her. She automatically decides whether or not what this person is telling her is important, and if it isn't, then she blanks out. This has yet to happen in classes, but its not impossible.
- Indecisive - Sometimes Erin just cannot make up her mind, and often goes to the most random of people and ask what she should get. Whether it be food or a book, Erin finds it hard to settle on one thing. This leads her to get more then what she originally had planned.
- Secretive - Erin, at times, hides what she's feeling (if it's a bad feeling) or maybe even is the 'secret' keeper amongst her friends. Though this can sometimes be good, it can also lead to hurt feelings. Not many people like it when their friend is keeping a secret from them.
- Perverted - It's not that she thinks about doing it or anything, but whenever someone makes a reference or says something that sounds dirty, she always has to add on to it with her own dirty comments. Of course, she knows when to stop. Not that she ever does, that is.
Skills:
Erin is actually quite athletic, though not many people know it, and can endure most tough challenges. She can also play a mean game of chest, though she barely plays it.
Likes:
- Candy - You just can't keep this girl away from sweets! Erin is willing to try anything, even if it be so disgusting. They all taste good to her. Well, most of them.
- Quidditch - Erin adores this sport, and although she has never played it she knows most of the rules, and all the positions. She does not have a favorite team, but instead enjoys them all.
- Pumpkin Pie - Another sweet she loves.
- Hippogriff's - Erin loves any kind of mythical creature, but the Hippogriff is perhaps her favorite, next to dragons.
- Teachers - For some odd reason, Erin is completely fascinated by the teaching staff. Either that, or adults.
Dislikes:
- Essay writing - Though she is quite skilled at it, Erin detests writing anything that is longer then what she is used to writing, and thus procrastinates, and often writes it at the last minute. But it still turns out good, thank merlin for her Mother being a fantastic writer.
- Crows - For some odd reason, Erin is agitated by the sight of crows, maybe because one nearly carried Gage off into the air, if it weren't for her father's quick thinking.
- Dementors - It's not like she is afraid of them, but she just doesn't like them.
- Trolls - Another monster she hates.
- Any homework in general - Although she does all of her work, Erin can be a bit lazy and pushes it off to the side. Hey, if you were a 14 year old you'd probably hate homework too!
Patronus:
A dhole, a wild dog usually found in Asia. Because Erin isn't one to bully, her patronus is a dhole. They usually live in packs and never argue or anything like that, and are relatively friendly amongst their pack members.
