Hey pplz. I wrote this one night when I was bored and reading another fanfic on MuggleNet!
Here's the basic plot::
Phoenix Rookwood is the daughter of one of the Dark Lord's most faithful supporters. Her father only expects her to follow in his footsteps and become what the entire family had become. The slight twist is the fact that she is madly in love with Fred Weasley, the last person you would expect to fall in love with a Slytherin. As their relationship moves on, Phoenix falls more in love with Fred and vice versa. Nothing could break what they have until the fight at the Hall of Prophecy where she must choose; what her family wants her to be, or the one she loves?? (Here's my inspiration:

Enjoy and please comment!
“Is there anything in the world that can make me love you more than I already do?”
Phoenix stared at him from across the empty class room, his brown eyes melting her heart where she stood. “You shouldn’t trust me the way you do. I love you more than you know but I can’t stand lying to you anymore.” Fred’s eyes lit up with a sudden concern. “Is it anything that would hurt what we have?” She turned around, unable to face him. “You know who I am! You know what my family is, what it has been! My father has been faithful to the Dark Lord ever since her rose again and they only expect me to follow. Someday, you will wake up and realize that our world has been torn apart--” He stopped her with a soft kiss. “No,” he whispered. “It doesn’t have to be like that…” She tried to push him away but her heart wasn’t in it. Instead she leaned against him, letting her tears fall. “I don’t want to become what my family expects me to be. You are the only one that knows, that will ever know…No one realizes how much I love you, how much you--this means to me…”He held her closer and kissed the top of her head comfortingly.
“No one has to know…”

She woke up next morning to the sound of rain on the roof. Lifting her head, Phoenix realized that she fell asleep, not only in last night’s classroom, but in his arms, too. She snuggled into him and felt his body shake with laughter. “Hello,” she said with the grin she knew he loved. “I’m cold.” “I dreamed of you last night.” They both said together.
“How ironic,” Fred muttred.
“Irony?” Phoenix said with a slight smile. “I don’t think so. Maybe it’s the fact that we’re so close, mentally, emotionally and physically.” He then returned her smile and kissed her as if to say, “good morning” and in it, Phoenix could feel their bond deepening. “Is there ever a time to stop saying ‘I love you’? Because if there is, this isn’t it. You will never stop hearing how much I care for you, how willing I am to be at your side for as long as we can.” Love: Phoenix couldn’t say it in her head without feeling his warm, tender kiss.
“They think our relationship shouldn’t be, that a Gryffindor and a Slytherin shouldn’t be so closely attached.” Fred looked up at the ceiling. “Then they don’t know what true love is. Love is entirely impossible to deny. Once you’ve found them, it’s like your whole world has fallen into place…” Then Phoenix realized that he wasn’t just defining love anymore. “Is this really how you feel?”
No response. He just held her closer. As the two lay there, the sun rose slowly from behind the horizon and the next thing she knew, Phoenix was sitting at the table in the Great Hall. Nothing could stop her from looking over at the Gryffindor table, back with George and the rest of the group. Nothing about what they shared showed in his lighthearted laugh but there was something deep in his eyes, reminiscent of their night together. She just couldn’t get over the fact that he now knows everything, every little bit of her heart that she had been hiding was now his. After nearly ten minutes of picking at a bowl of uneaten porridge, Phoenix headed to the common room, muttered the password and ran up to the dormitory.
Its a work in progress but I think that it's coming along nicely!
