[ooc - All in. I don't mind. Siren could use a blow to her confidence.] "A deck of cards?"Siren could admit to herself that she felt a little disappointed by this turn of events. Where was the challenge in procuring a deck of cards? She probably had some upstairs in her dormitory at this very moment, in fact. And as for money...cards were cheap. Muggle cards were even cheaper, and there was hardly any difference, unless Thaniel wanted a specific card game. "Any in particular you wanted?" she sighed, propping her hands on her hips. "Because I've got a deck upstairs. You need them to be magical or anything?"What rotten luck. Not only was the ghost potentially ticklish, but the secrets of his spirithood had to be pretty uninteresting if they could be traded for a stupid deck of cards. Siren huffed to herself. Maybe there wasn't anything important about being a ghost after all, but she'd still give getting the cards a go anyway. Just in case.

(ooc- This is going to be fun. I promise. *hides the devil horns*) "I have no preference. Either will be fine." Like the living get hungry, Thaniel wanted to have to cards to play with. He was an excellent shuffler and if his skills at that were amazing, his playing was not to be believed. He hadn't played in a while but he was still quite competitive enough to win a game of practically anything. "Whatever you have shall work for me." He folded his arms and smirked that evil sideways smirk he had. "Here's what we shall do. You will fetch the cards and we shall meet again outside on the lawns. Meet me by the rocky point at the west side of the school. The part that over looks the hillside." That point was particularly desolate. The rocks were so large that one could get lost. There were trees that way but they had to fight for root space among the rocks so they often sprouted up thin and frail like free standing skeletons. It would be a lonely place to meet up with her. All the better. "There I shall to you a secret of ghostdom. That is, if you are ready for one." (Why don't we do this. You reply to this thread and there will be a new thread waiting for you on the lawns. I'm skipping over there. This is gonna be fun!) salviohex.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=lawn&thread=791

Siren knew the place. Truthfully, she knew most of the grounds from her frequent nighttime wanderings. She could find her way around in the dark - literally. "Alright," she agreed, with a nod of her head, causing her chestnut hair to go flying, the strands shifting restlessly over her shoulders. "I'll be around shortly."
With that, and no further goodbye to the ghost, she turned and walked away, kicking over the last few of the coins just to be vindictive, and headed up to her dorm in the Ravenclaw tower to collect the battered deck of playing cards that had been requested. This might be a waste of time, she allowed grimly, but at least it's a use of something.
[ooc - awesome. I'll be right there! Lol.]
