World Passing By

N.E.W.Ts:
Report:
A serious and very diligent student. Strives for perfection, but could do with being a little bit more sociable in group projects.
Personal Statement:
Jac seems to have no opinion on the work she does, though secretly she does enjoy playing with numbers.
History:
Born into a pure-blood family, Jack had a fairly strict upbringing. Her family are one of the oldest loyal to Lord Voldemort, and to this day still maintain their black magic practices. Naturally, Jacaranda knows her fair share of unforgiveables and other unsavory hexes, but she's generally more subtle than some of the more devout followers. Her relationship with her parents is testy at best, though mostly because she is too ambitious to bother with them.
After passing through Hogwarts as a Slytherin, she came out smelling of roses, her best subjects being Ancient Runes and Arithmancy. She started as an apprentice at the Grey's accountancy practice. After deciding to hate Abraham Grey (who tended to loiter around his parents practice a lot) due to his incessant pestering and bullying, she gradually earned herself enough promotions and experience to strike out on her own as an accountancy consultant.
Early in her career, she came to the harsh realisation that no-matter how good she was at her job, gender was always going to hold her back. Thanks to some enlightment from a certain Abraham Grey, Jac discovered that the only way to advance her career at the speed she desired was to use her 'feminine wiles' and other attributes to get what she wanted from the men of power. Now not above even sleeping with a superior in the work place, most of Jac's promotions have been helped along by the extra 'overtime' she puts in.
Being well acquainted with the other dark wizarding families, she knows the Rosier family and has had financial dealings with Silas Rosier before. She now works for Scores, a chain of wizarding strip clubs, balancing their books and generally cleaning up any financial messes.
Roleplay Sample:
Auditing the Scores books was an arduous task. All the numbers were badly recorded, and the Hogsmeade records were disastrous. It was almost impossible! Just the way she liked it. It took a long while to get them straight, and even then there were gaping holes in the incomes and outcomes. What exactly had Mr Rosier been up to in that backwater place? Buying students? The woman straightened up, her back protesting from being bent for so long as she poured over the books.
A look at the antique clock in the corner told her it was well pat the witching hour. Thumb and forefinger massaged her eyes, and she carefully pulled her hair from its disintegrating bun. Leaving the books, records, and her own neatly written but nearly untranslatable notes in strict piles on her desk, she opened the catch on Iris’s cage. The owl-possessed duck ruffled his downy feathers, unaccustomed to being woken at such an hour. After a short burst of noise that sounded suspiciously like quacks trying to be hoots, the eider duck hopped out of her cage and fluttered to the desk where her owner was writing another note.
Jacaranda finished the note with a flourishing signature and rolled it into a neat scroll and sealed it with wax and her personal brand. “Take this to Silas Rosier, Iris. It looks like I will be making a trip to see our dear employer to sort this mess of his out.” She gave the duck a little scratch on her black cap and carries her o the window. The duck launched up into the sky, and the woman watched her go until her pale piebald shape was too far gone to see. With a sigh, the woman headed to bed. Tomorrow would be a long day.

As a matter of fact, these people are from a long-ago history, and its unlikely the ostracism she’s obtained means she no longer even has these friends. Luckily she’s too busy to notice.
Positive Traits:
- Confident – If Jac does something, she’s sure of it.
- Self-Assured – Jac is very suited to her lifestyle, she needs no support thus she is comfortably independent.
- Ambitious – Jac is a woman who knows what she wants and how to get it. If she’s got something or someone in her sights she won’t let go. She’s particularly ambitious with her job, her career is the most important thing and the driving factor in her life.
- Hard-working – As a consequence to her lack of social life, Jac is completely devoted to her work. She gets everything done perfectly and quickly.
- Serious – Often too serious, Jac maintains that being silly and trivial is for children. An unfortunate by-product is that she rarely smiles.
- Organised – Jac is highly organised, both mentally and physically. Her home and office are almost obsessively neat, and she keeps herself neat and tidy at all times.
Negative Traits:
- Cold – Jac keeps her feelings very tight to her chest. Sharing is not something she does, ever.
- Insensitive – She is anything but empathic. She applied her own rigid emotions to everybody else so she often hurts other’s feelings and refuses to blame that hurt on herself, rather on the person for being weak.
- Selfish – Jac will not go out of her way to help anybody else. In fact, she’s more likely to use people as stepping stones to get what she wants.
- Stubborn – Her point of view will never be ways, and she refuses to change her ways.
- Disrespectful – While she might pretend to respect her superiors, she will only do so until it is no longer in her best interests. She has a habit of being snappish and rude toward members of authority, but she will moderate herself toward her immediate superiors.
Skills:
- Awesome at numbers – Maths is the name, calculating is the game.
- Shorthand – You just try and understand her handwriting. She can read it perfectly, but it may as well be a different language to someone else.
Likes:
- Punctuality – Be late to a meeting at your own peril.
- Perfection – If its worth doing something, its worth doing it properly.
- Numbers – Mathematics is predictable and dependable.
- Money – Her favourite thing is money. She might not spend it in vast amounts, but she likes to have it.
- Men with money – Men with money are doubly attractive. She’s in the right profession to find the right man for her!
Dislikes:
- Losers – You’re not worth the time and effort if you have nothing to offer.
- Tramps – If they didn’t sit in the streets all nice and public, she’d probably kick them as she walked past.
- Children – Who doesn’t hate the little gits?
- Creepy crawlies – You’d think she wouldn’t mind a few unsavoury creatures with the company she keeps, but anything smaller than a rat is subject to combustion on sight.
- Cats – Haughty little monsters with those horrid sharp little claws and glaring eyes.
Patronus:
Pale Chanting Goshawk – An African bird who while hunts it own prey, will also steal food from other veracious predators like the honey badger..
Boggart:
A giant wasp. Because, well, why not?
