Height: 5'5"
Build: Light.
Wand: Rowan, Pine with Augurey Tail Feather. Double layered, pine on the inside, cream rowan on the outside. 13 inches, supple.
This wand is rather strong, sharp and extremely precise. It signifies the owner’s high abilities in clairvoyance, astrology and especially divination. Good for both for charms and transfiguration and shows excellent results in invoking images of the past and memory strengthening skills. The wand doesn’t suit well for dark arts at all.
Patronus: Numbat. Small little thing that never bugs anyone.
Boggart: A Grim. Dude, they like, kill people and stuff you know? See one, it’s all over! Nothing you can do about it either!
Dementor: Being eaten by Dacian.
Amortentia: Flowers, perfume, and tea.
Nicknames: Di
Clothing Style: Diana never likes to look shabby. Ever. It’s like an allergy or something. Her robes, although not at the height of fashion, are always picked to be classy, offset her complexion or eye colour properly or just generally to look nice. Colour is love. <3
[/ul]the biography
Siblings: None.
Relatives: See that crazy link I posted.
Other Important Figures: Nope.
Pets: A lazy, female Powerful Owl named Allo. She really just eats, sleeps and gets very moody when you try and make her deliver anything. In fact the little brat is only happy to be active when getting food.
Pensieve:
Everyone had high hopes for Diana. Her Grandmother was a seer, and her great great Grandmother before that, so assuming the gift was going to continue its tradition of skipping a generation Diana was due to hit the genetic lottery.
The girl was born, showed her first sign of magic at age 4 by turning their previously brown cat, Fallyn, white, and grew up normal. Well, more normal than you’d expect from a kid supposed to see major future events before they happened. True, she had an uncanny ability to guess who had written to them before they even got the notes off the owls, but no earth-shattering, mystical proclamations.
Diana wound up at Hogwarts as magical children do, and quickly found two good friends in some girls named Ann and Jen. She went though her school years with little trouble, excelling at Divination under her favourite teacher, Caitlin. Diana also got a bit of fame for 'cheap parlour tricks' such as correctly guessing random little things like when her friends needed to buy new ink, even when there was no real way to know unless she was snooping in their bags at midnight.
When school finally ended, Diana and her friends went for the traditional round-the-world gap year. They came back and settled off into their own jobs, and Diana decided to try and study to be a teacher. She applied last year and beat another two applicants for the position. The job didn't last long and she got herself chewed on by a vampire and quit. She instead applied to the Ministry and now works putting her Divination to use in various departments.
[/ul] the inner workings
Dislikes: Vampires, closed mindedness, procrastination, bullies, being confused (she can't stand it), blood, being pressured.
Quirks and Habits: Can't sleep if she hasn't done everything she has to for that day, must have tropical flavoured fruit juice in the morning, has favourite brands of everything that she swears by, wiggles her foot if she's nervous while sitting down.
Mirror of Erised: To be someone.
In Depth Personality:
* Responsible :: She can be relied on to do what’s right or what she’s supposed to do, and also accepts responsibility when she screws up.
* Has Initiative :: She hates having nothing to do, so if that happens she’ll just go and find something whether she’s meant to or not.
* Is Intelligent/Studious :: Must learn moreee.
* Has a Need to Prove Herself :: Diana’s always suffered from a bit of a ‘not good enough’ complex since it was widely predicted that she was going to be born a Seer and then, well, wasn’t. Or if she is, it hasn't been proven because although she seems to predict things without the use of signs, she has yet to deliver a prophecy.
* Hospitable :: Her mother always taught her to be the polite, ladylike hostess, so Diana won’t turn people away if they show up at her classroom or office. If she doesn’t offer you something to drink, she must hate you.
* Cleanly :: Cleanliness is next to Godliness.
* Meek :: Diana will give in to a lot of things, probably too much if pressured. She tries to act tough though, really she does.
* Grudge Holder :: She has trouble forgetting slights against her.
* Biased :: Can’t make an objective decision when someone she likes is involved or she has a personal stake in the matter. She’s trying to work on this, but er, no luck, so instead she tries to keep out as much as possible.
* Self Indulgent/Extravagant :: Diana has a good eye for opulence. Try give her something that’s anything less than perfect and she’ll get all disappointed-but-trying-not-to-be-and-failing on you. She also has little control with things like chocolate and sweets, which is not good for her desire to stay in shape, I can tell you.
* Insecure :: Like, the traditional stereotypical girly trait.
* Moody :: Happy and cheerful one minute, spiralling off into grumpydom the next. Beware.

Ah, breakfast. Diana was usually quite cheerful at this time of day, but for some reason she’d undoubtedly woken up on the wrong side of bed. The male blonde teacher seated next to her at the staff table was gibbering animatedly to the charms professor with the giant eyebrows next to him, but Diana couldn’t will herself to eavesdrop even if she tried.
An empty cup sitting innocently off to the side gave Diana an idea. In a flash she had made herself some tea, sculled it, swilled the dregs around and turned the cup upside down to drain the last of it. This was first lesson sort of simple stuff, but it wasn’t as though she’d brought a stack or tarot cards or anything. There had to be some reason for this desire to crawl right back in bed, or maybe she just hadn’t slept.
There wasn’t much, honestly. A thing or two she decided to translate as impending frustration from a group of students that day who weren’t going to get their work in on time, but that was it. There was something about a chance meeting too, which probably meant she was going to accidentally find Oscar cleaning the floor of her classroom or something equally obscure. The chance meeting was curious, but nothing else stood out. It was foolish to put too much store by what she read, or she’d end up getting overexcited about something that would turn out to be pointless.
Resigning herself to the fact todaywould be painfully mediocre once more, Diana went back to prodding her bowl of musli pointlessly with her spoon. It seemed a pity not to eat anything, as the house elves had gone to so much effort, but she reasoned she’d eaten too much yesterday anyway. It was too early in the meal to excuse herself without standing out, so instead Diana leaned forwards a bit and peered down the table to see what Abe was doing.
