Hazel nodded when he thanked her for the chocolate. He was always so polite; she was willing to bet that parents loved him. “I don’t know if you remember my brothers, but Alton’s favorite move for a Maul, was to lift me upright and just let me dangle there. I was be shrieking and kicking, but curse it all if Alton isn’t freakishly tall.” She would just have to dangle there like a fish on a hook, no matter what she did; he never let her go until the ball was back in play.
”How did you know I was a ninja?! And here I was thinking I was all good and secret like...”
“Oh Felix, I don’t know how to break this to you, but you’re a terrible ninja hon. we can hear you coming miles away.” She leaned forward and patted his hand reassuringly. She returned his grin with one of her own before nodding when he said he thought he got it.
“But you never know with me. If I played the game I’d probably realise I didn’t know something half way through! And that would be bad, wouldn’t it?”
“Don’t worry; I wouldn’t throw you out there unless I thought you were ready for it.” Hazel assured him. She wouldn’t just throw him out there and wait for him to mess it up, if he didn’t understand something, then she was going to make sure he knew it well before getting him involved in a full on game. Some of the people she played Rugby with in the past did not play for fun either, they played to win. She would probably keep Felix out of those matches for a while yet, though she had no doubt that Felix could become a wonderful player.
”So what now, miss?”
Hazel snorted a laughed before shaking her head. Ok, what could she tell him about, she had gone over the basics, and he had seemed to read over the terms. “Did you have any questions on the terms?” She asked, glancing back over the paper she had given him. If he had no more questions she would probably demonstrate some of the moves she had talked about before.
